Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments to help translate business needs into effective technical solutions. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams to define, document, and deliver clear requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Develop user stories, workflows, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Create and manage Agile Product Backlog items with acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning sessions.
• Support development and QA teams by clarifying requirements and defining test cases.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement.
• Work across systems and domains to support integrations and solution design.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in technical business analysis.
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills.
• Experience with backlog management and sprint planning.
• Ability to read and/or write basic SQL .
• Knowledge of relational databases and API requirements.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government, education, or enterprise IT environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL, SharePoint).
• Scrum or IIBA certification preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
