AIR CARGO POWERHOUSE is adding a Senior Logistics Manager to their family!
This high-visibility role directs operations for air cargo loading, unloading, sorting and organization.
Responsibilities:
Management of warehouse facility, operations and personnel.
Ensure sufficient labor to comply with shipping volume.
Conduct safety training, enforce protocols, and investigate accidents.
Prepare operational data reports for internal and external analysis.
Frequent communication via phone, email and in-person with VIP customers and division management.
Review departmental and client SOPs for improvement as needed.
Engage in interviewing, hiring, training, orientation, conflict resolution,
performance reviews, corrections, and disciplinary actions.
Provide mentoring, encouragement and leadership to ensure team members are happy, motivated, and contributing at the highest levels.
Requirements:
Management experience in logistics/supply chain/transportation/airfreight/manufacturing operations.
Understanding of air cargo and warehouse operations.
Familiarity with airport environment/TSA a plus.
Experience managing hourly, full-time and peak season staff.
Enjoys leading, coaching and rolling up sleeves to get job done.
Comfortable with Excel spreadsheets, reports, and data.
Relationship builder with colleagues, clients and vendors of all levels.
Willing to work outside of traditional business hours/days as needed.
