Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Conversational Design System Designer Lead to drive cross-functional collaboration across design, development, and engineering teams. This role will serve as the design expertise liaison to the client, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of the build out of a component library within a design system. The component library will serve all customer facing conversational experiences. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in design systems and chatbot experiences, with a strong ability to drive design spec files from end to end in Figma. This candidate will lead cross-disciplinary efforts across with a team of designers executing on newly created and designed components for an expanded version of the Design System. The design portion of the team will also work hand in hand with developers developing the components as well. Making sure timely delivery of the Conversational Components and design requirements are in place, as well as driving design solutions and supporting project architecture are other key responsibilities in this role. He or she will work directly with a Engineering Lead and Scum Master. Having a background in working with a Design System is needed for the role. The first phase of work will be a short sprint with the Delivery Team Leads to assess scope and environment, to then give recommendations on how many devs and designers are needed for the full delivery of the scope of work.

Skills and Requirements
·4+ years of experience and master of craft of design systems
Balance of experience with UI/UX
Experience tackling design challenges with a systems thinking approach
Excellent experience working in Figma
Hands on experience with design system workflows and end to end component design and delivery
Strong attention to detail and proactiveness
Hands on experience building a system with development teams
Expert with design judgment, systematic decision making
IoS/Android and web based platforms
Writing for clarity and detail oriented with documentation
Experience with design system story telling through presentations
