Pay Range: $64,221.00- $100,449.00

Job Overview

We are hiring a Production Planner to lead and manage production planning strategies that align with our business goals. This role ensures efficient scheduling, optimal resource utilization, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer demand while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Position Highlights

• Strategic production planning aligned with operational goals
• Resource planning to ensure optimal staffing and skill sets
• Collaboration with Supply Chain to forecast labor needs
• Development of efficient, cost-effective production schedules
• Optimization of work centers to maximize throughput
• Integration of planning functions into cohesive operational plans
• KPI tracking focused on schedule attainment
• Continuous improvement initiatives in planning and efficiency
• Evaluation of new tools and methodologies for planning 
• Support the development and opening of a new commissary facility, a significant investment and milestone in Price Chopper’s continued growth.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred)
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in production planning (food manufacturing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of high-volume fresh food manufacturing
• HACCP trained; experience with GFSI audits
• Familiarity with FDA/USDA policies and OSHA regulations
• Proficiency in ERP and APS software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Data-driven mindset with cross-functional collaboration skills
