As an Operations and Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting business operations by managing both supplier shipments (domestic and international) and vehicle logistics from production through customer delivery. This role is essential in ensuring the right supplies are in place to support production while coordinating the safe, timely, and cost-effective transport of vehicles, parts, and materials to customers and events. You will help build scalable processes and procedures that establish the logistics foundation for future growth. Responsibilities + Manage the movement of supplies and materials from domestic and international suppliers to support production. + Partner with Trade Compliance to ensure accuracy of import/export documentation, including HTS codes, invoices, certificates of origin, and customs declarations. + Prevent delays by validating paperwork prior to shipment and retaining documentation for compliance, audit readiness, and future cost analysis. + Track duties, tariffs, and landed costs to support budgeting, reporting, and cost-reduction initiatives. + Coordinate domestic and international shipments of parts, supplies, and vehicles. + Manage vehicle movements after production and provide proactive tracking updates to Customer Support for customer visibility. + Arrange one-off and overflow vehicle or material shipments beyond internal truck/trailer capacity, both domestically and internationally. + Recommend shipment options balancing speed, cost, and business needs, presenting trade-offs for leadership decision-making. + Document logistics procedures and build SOPs to establish scalable, repeatable processes. + Lead targeted process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology. + Adapt quickly to shifting business needs and contribute to change management. Essential Skills + Logistics + Customer service + Data entry + Inventory management + Transportation + Freight + Supply chain + Dispatch + Third-party logistics + Shipping and receiving + Microsoft Office + SAP Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred. + 5+ years in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding. + Proven experience managing domestic and international shipments. + Strong experience in documentation creation and validation. + Familiarity with vehicle or automotive logistics preferred. + Warehouse operations experience, including inventory management and materials handling. + Parts and inventory management experience, including tracking and reporting. + Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required. + Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP systems, HubSpot or CRM platforms, Confluence. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex shipments and multiple stakeholders simultaneously. + Prior startup or lean environment experience preferred. Work Environment This is a hybrid role with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong adaptability, resourcefulness, and change management skills. This role will contribute to building the foundational blocks of the logistics function, ensuring a reliable supply flow for production.
