As a Graphic Artist for the New Product Development (NPD) team you will utilize Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to create product assembly instructions, specification sheets, product box artwork, UPC product labels, as well as other marketing documents as needed. You will also use CAD software to create the 2D line art needed.

What You'll Bring

• Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, and other industry-standard design tools.
• General computer literacy and familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
• 2–4+ years of experience in graphic design, technical illustration, or similar role.
• Strong ability to convert 3D CAD content into clean, precise 2D vector line drawings.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.

Bonus Points For

• Experience working with engineering or product development teams.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software or CAD tools (even basic navigation).
• Experience creating assembly manuals, spec sheets, or packaging artwork.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.

What You’ll Do

• Create clean, accurate 2D line art from 3D CAD models for use in instructions, packaging, and technical documents.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly assembly instructions with consistent formatting across product lines
• Develop product box artwork including layout, product imagery, brand application, and regulatory/packaging requirements.
• Produce detailed product specification sheets, combining technical information, measurements, visuals, and feature callouts.
• Collaborate with NPD team designers and project owners to ensure accuracy of dimensions, components, and product configurations.
• Maintain consistency with UPLIFT Desk’s brand style, typography, and visual standards.
• Manage revisions, updates, and version control across multiple simultaneous projects
• Prepare files for print and digital output, ensuring compliance with manufacturing, packaging, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide creative input and visual problem-solving throughout the product development process.

• Compensation: $60k/DOE

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week
