Gardener - Newman, CA
Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour
Overview: Nexus HR is seeking an experienced Gardener with a minimum of 5 years of professional gardening experience to join our team as an independent contractor.
About the Job
The successful candidate will provide on-site gardening services in Newman, CA. This role involves maintaining a high standard of garden care and ensuring the client’s outdoor space is kept in excellent condition.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform general gardening tasks, including but not limited to planting, weeding, pruning, watering, and lawn maintenance.
Conduct site evaluations to assess garden care requirements and provide quotes for services based on these assessments.
Apply proper horticultural techniques and practices to maintain healthy plants and landscapes.
Utilize and maintain gardening tools and equipment responsibly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices during on-site work.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in professional gardening or landscaping.
Strong knowledge of plant care, horticulture practices, and garden maintenance techniques.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in an outdoor environment.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide accurate quotes after site evaluations.
Must have own gardening equipment (eg. lawnmower).
