Job Description

Pro Rehab , an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business, is looking for a Director of Rehabilitation to join our staff at  Guardian Angels Care Center, in  Elk River, MN This is a great opportunity to grow you career and join a team that will foster your skills.

As a  Director of Rehabilitation, you will manage the delivery of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services at one or more dedicated sites to which they are assigned. This role is responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and compliance with healthcare standards. The director of rehabilitation will excel in direct clinical care, team development, operational management, and relationship building to achieve organizational goals.

Position Type: Full-Time

Wage Range: $40 - $60 / hour depending on experience.

Location: 305 Evans Ave NW apt. 408, Elk River, MN 55330

Director of Rehabilitations Responsibilities:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of therapy industry standards and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review and analyze productivity, financial performance, and contribution margins regularly with the Regional Director.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage therapy staff to ensure optimal staffing levels and clinical performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership on marketing and business development initiatives to drive growth.
  • Oversee inpatient, outpatient, home health, and telehealth therapy programs to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Administer and interpret functional outcome measures to track program effectiveness.
  • Conduct compliance and quality audits to maintain regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Provide clinical care within scope of licensure as needed to support team and patient needs.
  • Organize, plan, and manage departmental operations and time efficiently.
  • Lead and implement change management strategies to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, families, staff, and referral sources through excellent service.
  • Exercise sound judgment, independent decision-making, and critical thinking.
  • Communicate effectively through clear verbal and written communication.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges through proactive problem-solving and collaboration.

Director of Rehabilitation Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree
  • Must possess a current accredited MN Physical Therapist
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to skilled nursing and outpatient services.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
  • Knowledge of billing systems and operations preferred.
  • Experience in management preferred.
