Job Description

Adam Search Group is looking to hire a  Controller to lead our clients' accounting and finance operations and play a key role in shaping the company’s financial direction and continued growth. This is an on-site position in the Evan's City, PA area. 

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a trusted financial partner to the President, working hand-in-hand to guide strategic business and financial decisions.
• Use your financial expertise and business insight to help drive company performance and long-term success.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports that clearly communicate the company’s financial health.
• Develop, implement, and maintain sound financial policies, internal controls, and best practices in accordance with U.S. accounting standards.
• Lead and mentor a small but dedicated accounting team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
• Partner with leadership to align financial planning with both short- and long-term business objectives.
• Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and general ledger management.

• Provide financial insight and oversight for ESOP-related planning, compliance, and reporting.

Who You Are

• You bring 6-10+ years of experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role within an organization with at least $25M-50+ in annual revenue.
• You’ve successfully managed a team and provided direct guidance to executive leadership, including partnering closely with company ownership or the President.
• You have a deep understanding of U.S. accounting standards, internal controls, and financial compliance practices.
• Experience with ESOP accounting and reporting requirements is strongly preferred.
• A CPA designation is a plus
