Requirements: - Must have a valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in North Carolina
- Previous experience in behavioral health or long-term care preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong observational, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic care setting
Responsibilities: - Assist with admissions, medication administration, and pharmacy stock monitoring under nurse supervision
- Perform UDS, COVID, and pregnancy testing; sanitize equipment and dispose of medical waste
- Interview patients, take vital signs, and complete health screenings and referral forms
- Document patient observations, vitals, treatments, and test results in the EHR
- Maintain a safe, secure, and confidential care environment
- Prepare patients for in-person or telemed appointments with medical prescribers
- Provide medication and home care education; answer patient questions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the center director or senior management
