Job Description

Cable Technicians needed to work in a data center/construction environment ONSITE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This will be a contract to hire opportunity. Mandatory overtime when meeting deadlines. Description + The Communications Technician will build closets including mounting and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optics and hardware. + Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must be able to work in an outdoor or indoor construction work environment. Technician must have proven skill level or the ability to learn to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements. Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, and hear and recognize audible signals. Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
